How much extra space do you need in front of a fridge?
For your safety, ensure that when positioning a fridge you follow all the safety regulations and instructions that come with your fridge, including leaving venting areas and safety clearances. There must also be enough space left, usually behind the machine, for cables and pipes. But from strictly a usability point of view, you require enough room in front of a fridge to be able to open its door fully and use it. The minimum clearance for this is likely to be 80 cm, so a 60 cm deep fridge will need 100 cm in total. Also don't forget that often you will need to open the door completely, to the side of the appliance, so placing a fridge next to a wall or other obstruction may cause problems.

Our philosophy

We want to allow every one of us to live comfortably even if they only have a small space they call home. We search the Internet for thousands of desks, cabinets, bookcases, shoe cabinets, beds, tables, armchairs and so on by size, to find just the right piece to go under the stairs to finally get a dressing corner, or to find that extra long sofa that is still narrow enough to squeeze through the door. From the hall to the living room, don't live around furniture - get furniture that lives with you.
